Patrick Magill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. His background includes positions as construction engineer, civil and mechanical superintendent. He began his career with Armstrong Construction in 1984 as a surveyor. He was later promoted to estimator, V. P. of Engineering, and in 1999, was elected President of Armstrong Construction Company.
Active in community affairs, he is a member of the Chi Epsilon Honorary Engineering Fraternity, past president of the Board of Directors of the Associated Contractors of New Mexico, member of the Roswell Pecos Valley Rotary Club, and a member of the Stake High Council, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
